ZEISS Metrology is also setting an example for the future with its metrology solutions for electromobility. At its component plant in Salzgitter, the automotive manufacturer Volkswagen is producing important components for the new APP 310 electric motor for the VW ID.3 electric car with an innovative hairpin stator. Together with VW, ZEISS developed a convincing measuring solution for quality assurance of the sophisticated motor concept.
