Bjørn Thorsen is a privately owned European Distributor of specialty raw materials and Solution Provider of customized solutions, technical, regulatory and customer support across Europe. The company started in Denmark in 1952 and has evolved into a highly specialized distributor of thermoplastic elastomers, specialty plastics, additives, solutions for adhesives, coatings and other performance materials for the European market. 

Today, the company employees 80+ people across Europe with its head office located in Copenhagen. It serves customers from a Central European warehouse, as well as local stocks for flexible supply and logistics security. To answer customers’ specific requirements across a wide variety of industries, Bjørn Thorsen offers R&D support, non-standard grades and tailor-made TPEs, powders and liquid formulations with laboratories and production facilities in Denmark and France.
